In recognition of the best engineering college in the country, the NFL announced Monday it has named the University of California, Berkeley, the Best Engineering College in the United States for the fifth time.
The award will be presented to the winner at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, which is expected to be held Feb. 2.
It’s the third time the award has been presented to UC Berkeley, which was previously named the best college in America for the 2018 season.
The last time the winner was awarded the award was in 2015.
The University of Chicago was named the third best college for engineering in the U.S. in 2019.
The winner will be announced during the NFL Scouting combine in Indianapolis on Feb. 8.
The best engineering colleges are ranked based on the percentage of engineering graduates in their graduating class, the percentage who are enrolled in engineering programs and the number of engineering students who have graduated.UC Berkeley ranked first in both categories in 2019 and 2019, according to the U-M report.
UC Berkeley’s percentage of graduating engineering students was 4.8 percent, while the UC Berkeley Engineering Program’s percentage was 3.3 percent.
The U.K.’s University of Cambridge was second in 2019, with 4.7 percent of engineering undergraduate students enrolled in a program.
The U.N. ranked the UCL Institute of Engineering and Technology second in engineering with 5.2 percent of undergraduate engineering students enrolled.
The second-best engineering college was the University at Buffalo with 3.9 percent of its engineering graduates enrolled in an engineering program.
The third-best college was California Polytechnic State University, which had 4.9 per cent of engineering graduate students enrolled, according the UMC report.
California Polytechniastate University and the University College of Southern California ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, in engineering graduates.
The report ranked engineering schools based on three factors: the number and percentage of engineers in the graduating class and the percentage enrolled in the engineering program, as well as the average graduate earnings, according a release from the NFL.
“Our commitment to supporting the most innovative, creative and dynamic universities is at the heart of what makes the NFL great,” said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in a statement.
“In addition to providing an unparalleled education and experience, the 2017-2018 NFL Scouting Report has helped define the best universities for our players, coaches, administrators, athletes and fans.”
The award for best engineering school was announced at the NFL scouting combine in July.
UC Santa Barbara ranked No. 4, while UC Santa Cruz, No. 5, and UC Berkeley ranked No, 6, according for 2019.
In 2018, the UCCB ranked No the best school for engineering, according in a report from the Business Insider and Business Insider College of Business.
The school was ranked No 1 for engineering students in 2018 and No. 3 for engineering graduates from 2019 through 2021.
