Automotive Engineer Salary, Manufacturing Engineer Salary: PayScale

The pay of an auto engineer can be tough to predict.
For one, the median salary varies greatly from region to region, with the United States, Europe, Japan and other Asian countries having the highest average salaries.
For another, the number of positions in manufacturing is increasing in recent years.
The Automotive Engineering Industry Association (AIEA) says the average hourly wage for a manufacturer engineer is $37,800.
The average hourly salary for a mechanical engineer is roughly $30,700, with other industry and engineering jobs ranging between $14,500 and $17,000.
However, there are plenty of companies with higher paychecks for their engineers.
The Association says there are approximately 5,600 manufacturing engineers in the U.S., and an additional 1,200 engineers in Japan.
Those figures are based on the median annual salary, but the average employee’s total compensation can vary widely, with some earning as little as $20,000 and as much as $30.
While the median yearly salary for an engineer is around $37.7 million, an engineer in manufacturing can make between $25,000 to $30 million a year.
The median yearly compensation for a machinist is around about $38,000, according to a study by PayScale.
There are also many manufacturing and manufacturing engineering jobs that can be filled by entry-level positions, like the engineer in the manufacturing area.
The average salary for the machinists position in the United Kingdom is around £36,700.
The U.K. and the U of S have a median annual pay of around $42,000 per year, with more than 30 percent of all manufacturing jobs being filled by this type of position.
A worker with a master’s degree in engineering or an engineering-related degree can make anywhere from $57,400 to $95,000 annually.
The salary range for a technical or software engineer can range from $37 million to $80 million, according the AIEA.
While engineers and mechanics may not always be the most desirable job in the workforce, they are essential for the continued success of an industry.
In order to be competitive, an industry must have a diverse workforce.
